Ironman was probably the best marvel adaptation I've seen. Unlike you, Lucas, I have never really been a RDjr fan and I really thought he was going to stink the joint up. I remember him as a drug addicted horse's ass. He really surprised me and I have to say I am a fan of the new and improved RDjr. Perfect in the role.
PS - I so hope the Avengers movie makes the cut, and is half as good as Ironman. Yes, I'm a former comic nerd (3,000 books neatly bagged, boxed, and in climate controlled storage). Who needs a retirement fund, anyway?

I can't wait for the Avengers movie! It took me 18 years to build the complete collection all the way from #1 to now. Look at the end of the new Hulk movie, and you can see the Avengers plot starting to take place. By the way Bigmac, if 3000 books made you a nerd, then what the hell am I with a collection of over 20,000 books. Yeah, I know...just a bigger nerd than you!
