Tart, pass the case info up to your sis's local new stations. If that doesn't get him arrested, go on up to MSN, FoxNews, etc. Since it involved the Internet which means "Across State Lines" it also involves the Feds.

There's got to be some reason why the local police are trying to leave this guy out of the picture. There's so many things you mention which individually would get him arrested and convicted. Either you don't know the whole story, aren't telling us the whole story (sorry, have to put that one in there) or the 18 year old is friends with someone the police don't want to piss off. Go over their head.

This kind of reminds me of that recent story of the girl who killed herself because she sent some douche naked pics of herself. The jackass then dumps her, sends them to everyone at school and she's riddiculed to the point where she went on the news to tell girls not to do this kind of stuff. She ended up killing herself a month after that news story. Nothing to the best of my knowledge happened to the guy.

Now I'm usually one who feels that you reap what you sow and if you're stupid enough to do something like this, then tough you deal with the consequences of your actions. But having a kid myself, and thinking about all this crap teenagers do nowadays, I keep thinking, if my son ever did something like that to someone, I'd feel like beating the shit out of him myself!
