ISO Image Files?

how in the hell do these things work? i burned the image on a disc but then when i try to use the disc nothing happens. i have no idea how these things work.

What program are you using to burn the .iso to the media?

If it's a cdrom image, I use cdrecord (under linux).

In windows you'd open the .iso file with your burning program and burn the contents to disc that way.

If your using windows you don't even need to burn it to disc. Free programs like Daemon Tools create a virtual drive (fake drive that fools the computer) and you just mount the .ISO file with this.
