Sunday was the Oscars. Already I'm hearing everyone bitch about Seth McFarlane, but come on people. You know how he works and they knew how he would be when they picked him!

That's Hollywood trying to save face.

Oh wells, the celebs got to have lots of fun with tons of parties. Like over in LA they had TheWrap 4th Annual Pre-Oscar Party on 2/20 and the 6'th Annual Women in Film's Pre-Oscar Party on 2/22. They kept it going with the Montblanc and UNICEF Pre-Oscar Charity Brunch & the Chanel Pre-Oscar Dinner Party on 2/23.

While Beverly Hills was rocking it with the QVC Red Carpet Style Party on 2/22.

West Hollywood held Vanity Fair Parties on 2/21 & 2/24, the Kari Feinstein's Pre-Academy Awards Style Lounge on 2/22, the Weinstein Company Pre-Oscar Party on 2/23 & the 21st Annual Elton John AIDS Party on 2/24.

Should I be bummed that I have never been invited to an AIDS party? That confusion is probably why it's also named the Elton John Academy Awards Viewing Party.

And of course on Sunday, 2/24, they had the actual event in Hollywood along with a luncheon for the nominees & the Governor's Ball for it.
