Nice one. I saw Shane Victorino play when he was in the minors. Sat behind the bench (well, I sat in the beer garden, which happened to be on the other side of their "dugout" which was really just a bench). I thought I'd hear interesting insider comments about baseball strategy, but instead all they talked about when they weren't up to bat was chicks, cars and stereos. The English speakers, anyway, and I'm sure the Dominicans were talking about the same shit.

Yeah, my sister held season tickets for the Charlotte Knights for about 10 years. At one point my Marine Recruiter was a VP there for something. She knew a lot of the players personally and they really did just talk about cars, food, and bitches. Not that I'm against any of that.

I sat through a game up in the stands and listed to a mom bitch her kid out in Spanish all night and when I turned around to leave I was looking for the Mexican lady who was so grouchy, and all I saw was a gnarly old black woman. That was my introduction to "Family Night" for the Dominican players.

I also had a client who housed some of the Dominican players for one season, but she chose not to do it anymore because, according to her, they don't flush toilet paper. Apparently where they come from the sewage systems/septic tanks/spot behind the fence can't handle it so they just wipe their asses and throw it in the trash.

Knowing that old bitch, though, I can see them doing it just to piss her off.

First wife's college roommate was from somewhere in Africa and had the same habit, but she also liked to wrap up her tampons in a sheet or two of paper and not flush it. Great smell.

My understanding was that at one point she was linked to Jim Thome, but after that I don't know. I remember someone called "Gator" but....
