That story is very similar to a story up in New York where the cat actually set the building on fire that it ran through. The cat did not die, they found it across the street where it couldn't run away and was only screaming. They later euthanized it. The 2 kids are looking at close to 15 years if they are convicted. That is disgusting that people have so little respect for life.
