Someone got me to watch this last night because I thought it was going to be Repo Man with Emilio Estevez
I was disappointed already but when I saw Forest Whitaker, I got a little hope for it to be interesting. That lead me to be even more disappointed than before.
About young British journalist, George Hogg, who with the assistance of a courageous Australian nurse, saves a group of orphaned children during the Japanese occupation of China in 1937.
Amazing story. This movie is very sad at times, but also very inspiring. I loved every minute of it. I watched it twice in one night.

I thought this was going to be at least a little comedic based on the subject matter, and knowing Forest was in got me to sit down. It was hard to follow, hard to enjoy, and I hardly liked sending a DVD back to NetFlix as much.
