You're sicilian TheSnake? Damn, that means we're like distant counsins, since that island isn't that damned big.
Yeah, I lived in the mountains of NC near a woman who had a ton of ostriches and any time they got out of her pen and into my side yard, I couldn't help but be reminded of Jurassic Park. I used to have an African Grey named Bowser too, heh.
Studied? Hell no, it was my major for two whole semesters!
MGH

yup, all my grandparents were born there. Never been myself, but I hope to get there one day.
Ostriches are amazing. They are so huge. A big aggressive male is intimidating as hell. I had an umbrella cockatoo for 3 years. He destroyed my house and my social life. They are like having a 2 year old that bites like a motha fucka. I loved that guy though. I am happy to say he is with his previous owner and doing very well.

Dad's father was the first born here in the US after his father came from Sicilia. My dad's mother was german and her dad was FOB too. On mom's side it's more convoluted, but includes Lakota and Scots-Irish.
Yeah, the African Grey I had was awesome, but he got ill and died right about the time of my first divorce.
Would it be cool if I put some pics up here that I took on a trip to the Lazy 5 ranch a while back? (It's a park that they drive you around in modified school buses while ostriches and bison and other exotic animals come up to the area or don't depending on whether they're friendly or not.)

Thanks man, just lucky. I had a dream and went for it. In retrospect, I should have become an accountant. Make lots of money and donate to conservation. I think they are more honorable on Wall St than people are in the conservation business.
