To be honest I've posted a few stories i've written, though looking back in retrospect, they were God Awful.

David Eddings said it best: 'Write a million words, at least a thousand will be good." If before mentioned thousand isn't amazing, then perhaps writing isn't for you.

Another tidbit from Stephen King's On Writing is finish a few stories before you attempt to ask for input, otherwise you're wasting time.

I'm writing a few things now--- besides of course the several erotic poems i've written--- in the hope to approach my million words mark. Since I've started eight years ago: using forums such as this is a God send.

Pick a fight, post away, usually if your post is camel shit, concerned Posters like n2tattoos and others will be there to correct your brain farts, take it to heart and pay attention, you'll probably learn something new, then insult their mothers and get them to flame you some more: gaining important tidbits along the way.

^^ if your stories are better now, what's holding you back? fish around. fuck the net, shop some by print publications. they love that free lance stuff. means you get the story cheap. just do it.
