I randomly started watching again when James Holzhauer started before he was on the winning streak. That was amazing to see and I was hooked afterward. I don't think I want to watch it with someone else hosting.
I loved how it always seemed like Alex knew all the answers making him seem like the smartest guy in the world. And he'd be a dick to players that were close, but not quite correct when correcting them, it was pretty great.

I always enjoyed when he corrected peoples pronunciation. He came off as so continental. But he could laugh at himself. I read once that he loved the SNL sketches. It's on when I get home from work. I turn it on as I let the dog out and check the mail. He will be missed.

Ken Spears, Co-Creator of ‘Scooby-Doo,’ Dies at 82
By Ellise Shafer
November 9, 2020 10:17am PT
Ken Spears, co-creator of the beloved animated series “Scooby-Doo” and co-founder of Ruby-Spears Productions along with the late Joe Ruby, died Friday. He was 82.
Spears’ son, Kevin Spears, tells Variety that he died from complications related to Lewy body dementia.
“Ken will forever be remembered for his wit, his story-telling, his loyalty to family, and his strong work ethic,” Kevin Spears says. “Ken has not only made a lasting impression on his family, but he has touched the lives of many as co-creator of ‘Scooby-Doo.’ Ken has been a role model for us throughout his life and he will continue to live on in our hearts.”
Born Charles Kenneth Spears on March 12, 1938, Spears grew up in Los Angeles, Calif., where he befriended the son of animation producer William Hanna. Spears was later hired at Hanna’s company, Hanna-Barbera Productions, in 1959 as a sound editor. While working in the editing department, Spears met Joe Ruby, and the two began a fruitful writing partnership. Together, they penned teleplays for Hanna-Barbera, Sid and Marty Krofft Television Productions and DePatie-Freleng Enterprises.
Spears and Ruby created beloved animated shows like “Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!” “Dynomutt,” “Dog Wonder” and “Jabberjaw” for Hanna-Barbera, in addition to “The Barkleys” and “The Houndcats” for DePatie-Freleng. Fred Silverman, CBS President of Children’s Programming, hired both Spears and Ruby in the early 1970s to supervise CBS’ Saturday morning cartoons lineup, and when Silverman moved to ABC, they followed. Spears was also a story consultant for the 1974 “Planet of the Apes” TV series.
In 1977, Spears and Ruby created their own studio, Ruby-Spears Productions. They produced several animated series, including “Superman,” “Alvin and the Chipmunks,” “Fangface,” “Mister T,” “The Plastic Man Comedy-Adventure Hour,” “Thundarr the Barbarian” and “Saturday Supercade.” In 1981, Ruby-Spears Productions was purchased by Taft Entertainment, the parent company of Hanna-Barbera. Ruby-Spears’ catalog was sold, along with that of Hanna-Barbera, to Turner Broadcasting in 1991. Ruby died on Aug. 26.
“Warner Bros. Animation is saddened to learn of the passing of Ken Spears and we send our warmest thoughts to his loved ones. He was a true innovator in the industry whose gifts of humor and storytelling continue to delight audiences,” Sam Register, president of Warner Bros. Animation and Cartoon Network Studios, said in a statement. “You cannot find a screen in the world that has not played a version of Scooby-Doo. We continue to be inspired by his work at Warner Bros. Animation and are honored to carry on the legacy of his beloved characters.”
Spears is survived by his two sons, Kevin and Chris; their wives, his five grandchildren and his three great-grandchildren.

Yeah I know, it won't be dead, but it might as well be.
One of my mainstay posting mottos/motivations before I started focusing on celebs was always 'Poor people need to masturbate too.'.
Now a days we are supposed to pay for cable plus every network's own streaming Netflix version (damnit I want to watch the new SBTB, but never will get to). That along with every person separately taking their clothes off (or not off) and charging you to see it individually.
Worst. Businesses. Ever.
Fuck the mainstream! Let's start a revolution!
Or not. I know. No one cares, they just go along with it and the majority thinks it's AMAZING.

Don't you miss the olden days when you could just throw a request up on some random alcoholic stepparent forum and some kind hearted rando would post links to the movie/CD/series you were looking for.
I must have posted thousands of hours of TV, movies, porn, etc.
I've posted things you people wouldn't believe. Obscure British TV series off the BBC. I watched Celebrity roasts glitter in the dark. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to delete.

Yeppers those good 'ol days.
I tried to keep it going on my own for a long time. Stuff was getting put down in day like it was a random feral brought into a kill shelter. The efforts became so pointless.
Then I had a premonition that based on where the tap was coming from, that might be how major terrorist organizations are able to fund themselves. Since everything is from those damn clicks for cash. I can't unthink it, I can't unsee things I saw that lead me there, I had to let it go.
Just sucks when you know and have known those that need such things akin to someone taking that loaf of bread to feed their family. You want to keep helping, but at what cost.

To everything (turn, turn, turn)
There is a season (turn, turn, turn)
And a time to every purpose, under heaven
A time to be born, a time to die
A time to plant, a time to reap
A time to kill, a time to heal
A time to laugh, a time to weep
To everything (turn, turn, turn)
There is a season (turn, turn, turn)
And a time to every purpose, under heaven
A time to build up, a time to break down
A time to dance, a time to mourn
A time to cast away stones, a time to gather stones together
To everything (turn, turn, turn)
There is a season (turn, turn, turn)
And a time to every purpose, under heaven
A time of love, a time of hate
A time of war, a time of peace
A time you may embrace, a time to refrain from embracing
To everything (turn, turn, turn)
There is a season (turn, turn, turn)
And a time to every purpose, under heaven
A time to gain, a time to lose
A time to rend, a time to sew
A time for love, a time for hate
A time for peace, I swear it's not too late

Thomas 'Tiny' Lister Jr., 'Friday' actor, dead at 62 after apparently experiencing Covid-19 symptoms
By Sarah Moon, CNN
Updated 2:47 PM ET, Fri December 11, 2020
(CNN)Actor and wrestler Thomas Lister Jr., also known as "Tiny," was found dead in his home Thursday after experiencing Covid-19 symptoms, his manager told CNN.
The 62-year-old actor started feeling sick a week ago, but his symptoms "got really bad, really quick," manager Cindy Cowan said.
He couldn't breathe and felt very weak, she said.
"It literally went so fast," Cowan added.
Lister was best known for his role as Deebo in the "Friday" movie franchise alongside rapper Ice Cube. He also appeared with Hulk Hogan in the World Wrestling Entertainment movie "No Holds Barred."
Lister was supposed to have gone to a set for a new movie last weekend. However, he called to cancel because he was feeling too weak and had a hard time breathing, Cowan said.
"Tiny doesn't miss movies; he took it very seriously," she said.
The actor then canceled plans for a panel scheduled Wednesday for a TV festival via Zoom, according to Cowan.
She said her assistant went to Lister's house that day with some vitamins and antibiotics to check in. Concerned family members also started calling him Wednesday night.
The calls went unanswered, Cowan said.
The next day, a friend of Lister's went to his house and called the police for help when nobody came to the door.
When deputies entered the home, they found Lister dead.
"Mr. Lister's death appears to be of natural causes but will ultimately be determined by the Office of Medical Examiner-Coroner," the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said in a statement.
The death is still under investigation, the statement said.
