This was the first game I ever bought with my own money. I fucking loved it and was mad good at it.

Then I let one of my friends borrow this. One of his friends proceeded to steal it. Kid I let borrow it stole it back. Then the older brother of the kid that stole chased me and my ex in his van through Plainfield (which is a BAD neighborhood). We went wrong ways on a one way road and eventually they got out of the cars. My ex whipped out a knife, but the older brother kid was like "what are you going to do with that". Ex gave it back to him.

To make a long story short, I now hate Mario Kart forever!!! lmao. but it was a good ride while it lasted.

Were the Saturn's graphics REALLY that shit? Or is it just the emulator?

I think the emulator is making it worse, although at the time, graphics like that were kick ass. Lol we are very spoiled now-a-days.

Another possible culprit is that although the Saturn is 32 Bit, most of the games did not utilize it to it's capacity. I believe I have seen an Angry Video Game Nerd episode explaining this.
