I hate listening to all the options when i know all i need to do is speak to a customer service rep.

Oh, and BTW.... WHY do companies make you enter in all your info only to have the service rep ask you for it again when they get on the call??

Service rep: Hello, my name is Jessica can you please verify your security code?

This is why I love this site. 0 isn't always the trick, in fact a lot of times now CRM companies set the IVR not to accept 0 as a way to a live person because that negates the funnelling of the queues through button presses.

I call companines where I know there will be one of those menus just to talk to the CSR's and fuck with their days. I'll tell them jokes or read them the news.

Some of the voice recognition ones are also programmed to move people who curse to the front of the line. So sometimes its worth a try just to keep saying fuck.
