You're a smart man. Steve Perry, has a flawless voice. I saw them at Shea stadium with Ted Nugent. They were amazing. I saw Robin Trower around 1978. Another amazing show. Dewar was an awesome singer and a damn good bass player too.

I can somewhat relate to the Rod Stewart thing, but when he went Disco, he became a pop star. And in my mind, you can't be both. Michael Jackson had an incredible voice, but it's like a trade-off. Pop star v. vocalist. They gave away that crown for something bigger.
