A friend of mine swears by V8 or V8 splash.

I myself don't really get hangovers. The few times I do get massive hangovers, I just drink a lot of water.

it doesn't help, but it keeps my throat from feeling like I swallowed battery acid

I ate before I went to bed last night, drank water AND drank more water this morning but I still feel like I got shot in the face. To top it off, my body has decided its morning and wants to stay awake instead of sleeping it off.

my cure is more preventative.

i take a couple of travel tabs or gravol b4 i go to bed, even b4 i leave the bar or where ever. i take it with my last drink. dont take it too early or u may fall asleep too soon. i used to get hufe, puke for 12 hrs cant hold down water kind of sick hang overs. and when i discovered this i never had them again.

i have grown out of them, every once in a long while i will get a hung over but i dont take the gravol anymore

Haven't you ever gotten hammered - I mean really hammered? Making it to a flat horizontal place it the first priority. If you're sober enough to drink a quart of liquid, then you're not very fucked up now, are you?

I'm siding with my one true love, Miss Panda. Ibuprofen (Advil) is the best thing you can do if you have 15 seconds before you pass out. 800 mg (that's 4 pills). BTW - If you have more then 15 seconds before you pass out, then you should have another drink.

After the Ibuprofen, you'll still feel sick and out of sorts, but at least you won't hurt.
