i didnt get to see the game on tv. i was watching the ticker and ready to launch something at the tv until i say the final. i watched high lights and got chills and to top it off brian burkes kid died. i think burke had it done cuz his kid came out of the closet

I highly doubt it, but they do have a legitimate shot. What Buffalo has that no other team in the league has is a solid MVP goalie, and because of that he can carry them far. I still think Pittsburgh will come out of the East, if not, then it will probably be Washington. Either way, unless Pittsburgh makes it into the finals, I think a western team will win the cup regardless.

besides the mvp goalie, we have a TEAM. no other team plays like we do, out of the last 6 games we have 6 different players score goals...it's not about one or two players on a team it's about how the TEAM plays together that will win the cup...and as i said before, we haven't been able to play with our full team because of injuries and we still win

I think many other teams could certainly make the same TEAM argument. Washington, Pittsburgh, Phoenix (especially), Vancouver, and Detroit have all played well since the Olympic break. I think the dark horse in the playoffs this year will be Detroit, but I will stand by the Pens to take the east.

yeah but you had to let boston win tonight... fuck now the hope of the rangers making the playoffs means they have to beat philly twice which i highly doubt is gonna happen
