Voodoo35 is starting to gain some momentum on DSF
Talking I wonder....

if bands like Guns-n-Roses and Van Halen fall in this. The existed before 1990, but still had some really good stuff in that decade. Maybe not their best, but still.
Anyway, top 3
Nirvana
Pearl Jam
Temple of the Dog
There was a lot of great music and then there was a lot that truly sucked ass.

For the 90's......hmmmmm.

Soundgarden.# 3

Radiohead.# 2 I think O.K. Computer might have been the best album of the 90's for me.

I gotta go with Daniel Lanois for #1.

For the Beauty of Wynona was one of my favorite albums through the early 90's till O.K. Computer came out. Daniel Lanois also produced almost everyone of my favorite records around that time.

I know it is not the 90's but in 89, he produced Bob Dylan's (my favorite dylan record) Oh Mercy
91- U2 Achtung Baby
92- Peter Gabriel-Us
93- Daniel Lanois- For The Beauty Of Wynona
95-Emmylou Harris- Wrecking Ball(my favorite Emmylou record)
96- Daniel Lanois -Slingblade soundtrack
97 Bob Dylan- Time Out Of Mind.
You can find most of these albums right here, http://www.drunkenstepfather.com/for...=daniel+lanois
Not a bad decades work.

I never got into Pearl Jam until the last few years and now the more I listen the more they grow on me.

Anyone here a Faith No More listener? I never really liked em besides they're single epic. But I've grabbed their first 2 albums and they're pretty damn good. The vocals might have a strange style to some, but it grows on you.

Another 90s band I recently got into was Failure. I have their first album "Fantastic Planet", from what I read was one of the most underrated albums of the 90s and its pretty good too. I haven't been able to get a hold of any of their other albums, I think they have 2 more.

Lately I've been getting tired of the music I've been listening to forever, and I've been looking around for good bands to get into. I really don't like any of the bands coming out now so I resort to the 90s since they were so many to choose from. I pretty much have gone through all the best classic rock too.
