How did a Katrina dog end up on the left coast? Did some one drive hem there? Cause if my tax money paid to have a stray dog that could have been adopted close to home shipped off to Cali on an airplane that I can't afford a ticked for, I am gonna be a little unsettled!

unless the dog was sipping champagne and eating caviar up in first class then i think it's money well spent. it probably only cost the airline about $5 a dog to ship em out in cargo. his dog and i'm sure many others found good homes, so whats the problem?

My problem??
There are not enough stray pets that need adoption in the mid coastal California section that need adopted that they have to ship in pets from other regions??
And is there proof that said dog was a Katrina refugee? Or was that some sob story that the people at the Shelter spewed out to get them adopted?
Don't get me wrong, I am all for taking in strays, I have to fight with Mrs. BC some of the time on that.
But, to think that Katrina pets made it halfway across the country just to be stuck in a shelter is a bit to much for me to buy.
Mine came about one night when my friends and I were all playing Age of Empires. It was everyman for himself and when I defeat 2 enemies that vastly outnumbered me, but didn't have as many advancements, I proclaimed that only Caesar himself could have pulled off as great a victory ( I was a history major). So after a few hrs of making my friends call me Caesar as I kicked their ass in the game and much gloating, the name kind of stuck. the 273 is because of Yahoo and needing the number. The 2 as in Caesar the second, and the 73 is the year I was born. And yes, I am a total geek!

I wish I could lie and say that I wasn't into E-Feds, but seriously, that shit was sooooooooo much fun back in the day. I credit writing the interviews with my incredibly quick typing skills, haha. Had to finish up the RPs in time to still get some old dial-up porn spank sessions in! We we're probably all in leagues around the same time, that's the funny thing. God, sometimes I actually miss AOL.
i honestly don't know why i picked this name. i made some stupid post in this thread forever ago, but the truth is, it just came to me. some of you may know i tried to change it...and i probably could have, but it just kind of stuck. someday, maybe, i'll change it, but iv'e grown to like it.
