There are a lot of bad song writers out there, and I don't mean bad lyrics like from a Pussycat Dolls song or something. I mean glaringly uninspired or upsetting lyrics from groups with at least an ounce of credibility. the two that come to mind are:
"...in a dry and waterless place" The Unforgetable Fire- U2
"...her placenta falls to the floor" Lightning Crashes- Live

Navin: I didn't want to get spit on me.
If you need me I'll just be circling the maternity ward, listening for screams with my glass ready in hand.

A few songs that have to do with Hurricane Katrina.
One a personal testimonial song 'Katrina brought the water' by Scott Detweiler
"So many dead refrigerators laid out in the street
So many dead refrigerators laid out in thestreet
When the water cut the power
It rotted all of their milk and meat"

I agree that its an amazing lyric, but I think its an amazing uneccesarily gross-image lyric. Don't get me wrong, I like both songs...but when I think about the live song, I don't think "what a wonderful circle of life image he's painted," I think..."ewww. placenta. ewww."

I've never heard the song but the fact that it mentions placenta is awesome. That said I have the mind set of a 12 year old boy so anything like that will amuse me for at least 20 minutes.
This is the Thunderdome, so suck my tiny e-dick motherfucker!!!!!

I caught this Lil Wayne song called "Mrs Officer" the other day, regarding his intention to tap that ass:
her wear nothin but handcuffs and
heels, den i beat it like a cop
Rodney King baby yeah i beat it like
a cop Hahaaa.. Beat it like a cop
Rodney King baby said i beat it like
a cop but i aint tryna be violent
but ill do the time but her
love is time-less
