Home is a subject i always find interesting mainly because i volunteer a lot with the homeless and have heard so many stories from them. 10x10, imho, really isn't even that bad... hell, those people have floors at least.
There's a really good documentary that i am sure a lot of you have seen called
Dark Days. It really explores the concept of "home" and even if a person is living in an abandoned tunnel deep beneath NYC (or a Hong Kong housing project), he often still takes pride in his living area and just having an area to call home helps tremendously with one's mental state. One of the guy's in the film says "You'd be surprised what the human mind and the human body can adjust to". Damn straight.
If you haven't seen that movie check it out, it will blow you away.
