Mmmm, like a delicious meaty cream puff.

For me, no food brings back fond childhood memories as vividly as ketchup sandwiches.

Yes, ketchup and ONLY ketchup between two slices of bread.

My mom insisted on packing sandwiches in my lunch when I was little so I could "fit in" with all the other kids at school but I refused to eat lunch meats and cheese so my sandwiches usually consisted of some kind of condiment and bread, and that's it. French onion chip dip sandwiches were my favorite.

Of course now I hate ketchup and I still hate sandwiches.

I know a lot of people used to eat crisp sandwiches. The textur of the crisps and bread makes my spine tingle.

Haha, actually I didn't. I come from a family of rich assholes whose only misfortune is being really, really foreign. No amount of money can disguise how embarrassingly backwards all my relatives are. Anyway, as a result of coming from a snooty family I was a spoiled, bratty bastard child and taught myself how to throw up on command if I didn't want to eat something. I'm surprised my mom didn't just stop feeding me and let me starve to death.

The gross thing is, I actually LOVED condiment sammiches when I was little. I also refused to eat most things unless they were in a bowl on the floor, because pretending to be a dog was really cool.

Rofl. Gotta love the presentation. Sushi chefs ain't got shit on the bowl on the floor. My mom was pretty backward. She actually tried to send me to school with a stew. I was like WTF?! Bobby was eating PB&J and I was eating shit with hominy in it.

Reese's cup cereal was my favorite because it looked the most like dog food. I hated the way it tastes but I ate it anyway for that real genuine dog feeling. Hahahahahaha.
