I think today is 25 days since I quit...

Just couldn't justify the cost of cigs anymore. Especially since the amount I'll save every month is half my child support payment.

lol I am the same, i quit for like 6 months, then I'm right back to smoking for about 6 months

At risk of being on topic(BTW Mad never ending love for TheSnake!).... I quit smoking 7/1 cold turkey and it was rough for a couple weeks but I leveled out.... Ive had a few hard days with really bad cravings... but now I'm cool going out to bars and whatnot without tweaking for a smoke.......

I gave it up with someone else, just stopped. I noticed I could breathe better within a week or two it seemed. I could bring in groceries going up & down the stairs, without having to sit down (& have a cigarette) Then smell & things came back.

The cravings are hte hardest, you have to just do it. Just be ready & do it. After eating, I'd pick up a lighter, looking for something & have to remember, Oh, we don't do that anymore. Weed helped for that.

I still think of it. When I'm lost in the car, when I see people smoking, or smell it, when drinking, sometimes in dreams. I can't ask anyone for one, or I might do it again. It's worth feeling better & not coughing all the time.
