Arcade Jackpot changes

The jackpot was only winnable by the person that beat the current highest score. Now the jackpot can be won by anybody that places in the top 3. The jackpot will be split according to your score rank:
  • a 1st place score will earn you all of the jackpot
  • a 2nd place score will earn you 2/3rds of the jackpot
  • a 3rd place score will earn 1/3rd

Just wanted to voice out about the rep system. I like it.

A) it is very easy to show appreciation to users who spend much of their valuable time to find, download, edit, upload, take pictures, rip, search, and share with others that they much deserve.

B) as someone who has shared mainly in the private section in the past but more recently has been spending alot of my time to add to the library of content in other sections of the forum, it really makes me feel like I am being "paid" in the way of receiving rep points, since none of us who do post and/or share receive any other forms of payment for our time.

They may not be much and we can't use them to pay the bills, however just knowing that your post, even if only a random thought you had, is appreciated by others.

SO...I like the addition to the forum and in the past several months the forum has been improving exponentially..

SO PROPS TO SATAN!

(damn, didn't think I would be typing that when I was at church on Easter sunday)

Awesome. Thanks SB i appreciate the feedback!

The credits system was to serve a couple of purposes one of which was to allow people to reward others but what happens is that people dont want give away their credits, which is understandable. The REP system fills that gap because you can give without taking away from yourself. I also like that you also earn Rep Power which gives a person's opinion more value.

That said, i realize that unless i give myself a "deadline" of sorts for the "store" to spend the credits in, i'll never make time to finish it. SOOOOO, i am giving myself a soft deadline of May 1st to have everything done and it will allow you to spend your credits on DSF merch!

Anyways all the improvements are my effort to make things more fun and get people interacting a bit more. I'm glad you like

EDIT -- dont forget, i am always open to suggestions by PM. Even if it is something i may have already thought out and initially dismissed, sometimes someone suggesting something can bring a diff perspective which is always good.
