Jesus Martinez Soto, 28, has been charged with criminally negligent homicide in the death of 5- year-old Jae Michael Mc- Naughton.

The boy died Thursday after he was run over at the corner of Gulf-Hercules Rd and Burns St in west Kilgore.

Jae?s 16-year-old cousin, James Lane White, suffered minor injuries. His 12-year-old sister, Joanna Neff, was not hit by Soto?s Ford pickup.

The incident occurred at 6:20 a.m. when the three were walking to the school bus stop.

There were three kids together.

Lots of kids walk to bus stops at 6:00+. Heck, I even had to do so in the 82' for 7th grade and would have had to the year before except my parents made me suffer through a year at a private Lutheran school which drove me to.

Thankfully around here, buses pick up kids within three or four houses of where they live and on the same street. I had to walk almost a mile if I cut across the huge elementary school's field and the bus got there at 6:25am. Six years of that since both my middle school and high school stops where within 300' of each other.

Briton is recognised as world's first officially genderless person

A British expat who claims to have no gender is thought to have become the first person to be officially recognised as neither male or female.



Norrie May-Welby, 48, was born a man but had a sex change operation in 1990, at the age of 28.

After becoming unhappy as a woman, May-Welby decided to become a ?neuter?. The 48-year-old is now officially recognised as a person of no specific gender.

May-Welby emigrated to Australia at the age of seven after being born in Paisley, Renfrewshire.

Officials there altered the Briton?s birth certificate to include the new no-gender classification after doctors were apparently unable to determine the sex of the expat?s body.

May-Welby said: ?The concepts of man or woman don?t fit me. The simplest solution is not to have any sex identification.?

The UK?s Gender Trust welcomed the case. A spokesman said: ?Many people like the idea of being genderless.?

Island off Washington state searched for elusive 'barefoot burglar'



Seattle, Washington (CNN) -- Using helicopters and search dogs, police scoured an island off Washington state Thursday for an unlikely fugitive: an 18-year-old suspected of stealing airplanes who is known as the "barefoot burglar."

At least five local and federal agencies were involved in the hunt for Colton Harris-Moore on Orcas Island, which began at 1:15 a.m. PT (4:15 ET), according the San Juan County Sheriff's Office.

Thursday's search focused on "a very isolated and very rugged area on the west side of the island where only a few homes are located," according to a statement from Sheriff Bill Cumming.

FBI agents were taking part in the manhunt. The statement did not say what led authorities to the area.

Harris-Moore's alleged exploits have attracted a following on the social media site Facebook -- with several pages boasting thousands of fans -- and established him as a thorn in the side of local law enforcement, who said they are frustrated by their inability to put handcuffs on the teen.

Harris-Moore faces 11 felony charges, including allegations of driving a stolen car, Internet identity thefts and burglaries.

"Keep on running never give up. Planes, Trains, and automobiles!" read a message posted Thursday on one of the Facebook sites dedicated to Harris-Moore.

First arrested at 12 on burglary charges, Harris-Moore earned the nickname the "barefoot burglar" for allegedly breaking into vacation homes along the Washington coast without wearing any shoes.

But a string of alleged plane thefts that began in 2008 raised Harris-Moore's profile, and a December issue of Time magazine dubbed him "America's Most Wanted Teenage Bandit."

Investigators said at least four planes stolen or crashed in Washington state involved an inexperienced pilot who may have walked away from the rough landings by sheer luck.

Harris-Moore has not been charged in any of the plane thefts, but Cumming, the San Juan County sheriff, said he is the main suspect. Forensic evidence has not linked Harris-Moore to the thefts, but Cumming said investigators suspect the teen fugitive is responsible.

"There is is the letter of the law, and there is what we believe," Cumming told CNN in a recent interview. "We will continue to investigate and search for him in relation to the plane thefts."

In a theft last month, a plane skirted airspace closed for the Vancouver Winter Olympics, alarming federal authorities on high alert. The plane landed on Orcas Island, south of the U.S.-Canadian border. A local market also was ransacked near where the empty plane was found, police said, and the thief left an apparent calling card: outlines of feet drawn on the floor.

"His fans say he's sticking it to the man," said Kyle Ater, owner of Orcas Homegrown Market. "But I am a small independent grocery store owner, I am not Wal-Mart. I have slept in the store every night since it was robbed. I just want to go home."

TV presenter gets death sentence for 'sorcery'

(CNN) -- Amnesty International is calling on Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah to stop the execution of a Lebanese man sentenced to death for "sorcery."

In a statement released Thursday, the international rights group condemned the verdict and demanded the immediate release of Ali Hussain Sibat, former host of a popular call-in show that aired on Sheherazade, a Beirut based satellite TV channel.

According to his lawyer, Sibat, who is 48 and has five children, would predict the future on his show and give out advice to his audience.

The attorney, May El Khansa, who is in Lebanon, tells CNN her client was arrested by Saudi Arabia's religious police (known as the Mutawa'een) and charged with sorcery while visiting the country in May 2008. Sibat was in Saudi Arabia to perform the Islamic religious pilgrimage known as Umra.

Sibat was then put on trial. In November 2009, a court in the Saudi city of Medina found Sibat guilty and sentenced him to death.

According to El Khansa, Sibat appealed the verdict. The case was taken up by the Court of Appeal in the Saudi city of Mecca on the grounds that the initial verdict was "premature."

El Khansa tells CNN that the Mecca appeals court then sent the case back to the original court for reconsideration, stipulating that all charges made against Sibat needed to be verified and that he should be given a chance to repent.

On March 10, judges in Medina upheld their initial verdict, meaning Sibat is once again sentenced to be executed.

"The Medina court refused the sentence of the appeals court," said El Khansa, adding her client will appeal the verdict once more.

The case has been covered extensively by local media. According to Arab News, an English language Saudi daily newspaper, after the most recent verdict was issued, the judges in Medina issued a statement expressing that Sibat deserved to be executed for having continually practiced black magic on his show, adding that this sentence would deter others from practicing sorcery. Arab News reports that the case will now return to the appeals court in Mecca.

CNN has not been able to reach Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Justice for comment.

Volcano Erupts In Iceland???

REYKJAVIK, Iceland - Authorities evacuated hundreds of people after a volcano erupted beside a glacier in southern Iceland, Iceland's civil protection agency said Sunday, but there were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.

The eruption occurred around 11:30 p.m. Saturday (7:30 p.m. ET) beside
the Eyjafjallajokull glacier, the fifth largest in Iceland. Authorities initially said the eruption was below the glacier, triggering fears that it could lead to flooding from glacier melt, but scientists conducting an aerial survey in daylight located the eruption and said it did not occur below ice.

"The eruption is a small one," said Agust Gunnar Gylfason, a risk analyst at the Civil Protection Department.

My family is fucked. Crohn's is declassified as a disabling illness and my daughters pancreatic enzyme medicine is not covered by the "prescription" section at all. Crohn's is also being reclassified as an "intermittent" illness along with acid reflux.

This is purely pushed by the drug companies. Under the new HP, any illness not classified as disabling means the drug companies will not have to cut their price to match the government's limits (very low under the new plan). In fact, it also allows the drug companies to adjust the pricing HIGHER than ever and it's expected one of my wife's meds will jump from the current price of $2000.00/month to over $45000.00/month.

This is stuff that if my wife doesn't get, she will die. No if's, and's or but's, dead. And a painful, few months of suffering.

I have come to fucking hate the Dems and Obama and pretty much all senators/congressmen.
