A 22-year-old Oklahoma teacher’s aide has been accused of having sex with a student after, just two weeks after started her employment at the school*according to reports.

Ashley Waffle, a temporary teacher’s aide with Granite Public Schools, began working at the school on Oct. 10, and started messaging with a 16-year-old on Oct. 25 on Snapchat.

The educator is alleged shortly after to having a physical relationship with the teen boy, KSWO reported.

The outlet said that school officials alerted police to rumored liaisons between the student and Waffle that were spreading around the small town of less than 2,000.

According to court documents, Waffle had relations with the teen twice at her apartment sometime before Nov. 9, KSWO reported.

Waffle was fired on Nov. 10, and now faces two second-degree rape charges that could land her in prison for up to 15 years.

The female teacher is currently being held at the Greer County jail, according to the outlet.

District superintendent Missy Berry told parents in a letter this week that they were cooperating with law enforcement as their investigation continues.

Not immediately clear is what led to the female educator betraying her position of trust, authority and power and subjugating her teen male victim.

Georgia school administrator has sex w/ student at Halloween party

Rachelle Louise Terry, Murray County school administrator in Georgia charged with sex crimes after having sex with student and plying students with booze at a Halloween party.*

A*Georgia school administrator has been accused of sex crimes after she allegedly raped a student and gave others alcohol*during a*Halloween*party.

Upon her arrest, Dr. Rachelle Louise Terry, 43, of Chatsworth, was charged with child molestation and statutory rape. The educator was also charged with ten counts of giving alcohol to minors, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigations.*

Terry presides as the director of Enrollment, Data Collections, and Federal Programs for the Murray County school system in Georgia. The educator is*paid around $110,000 a year and has held her post for around 22 years. She turned herself in and was taken into custody on Wednesday November 23.

Since then she has since been held in the Murray County Jail, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

The age of consent in Georgia is 16 – any child below that age cannot consent. The age of the students involved in her case are not known.

An investigation began on November 9 when Sheriff Jimmy Davenport received a report of minors being provided alcohol at a Halloween party,*The Dalton Daily Citizen reported.*

Davenport told the local newspaper he was contacted by Murray County Schools Superintendent Steve Loughridge about the party after a parent made a complaint.

Terry turned herself in for five counts of purchasing alcoholic beverages for minors and five counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.*

To avoid any potential conflicts of interest the case was handed over to the Conasauga District Attorney’s Office, Davenport told the Daily Citizen.

She ‘was placed on administrative leave with pay, upon return from the Thanksgiving break, and prior to her Wednesday night arrest,’ said Derichia Lynch, communications coordinator for Murray County Schools.

‘Because she is under contract, her leave must be with pay until a hearing can be conducted,’ she added.

Conasauga DA Bert Poston confirmed his office handled the investigation of the party.

‘Sheriff Davenport asked me to take the lead on that so my investigator in Murray County conducted that investigation and took those charges,’ he said.

‘The GBI will not come in to investigate misdemeanor charges under those circumstances, so we agreed to take a look at it after the initial complaint came in.’

Lakota Schools teaching assistant, 24, has sex with student in car

A former teaching assistant in Butler County, Ohio has been accused of having sex with a 14 year old student in her car after the boy sneaking out of his father’s house in the middle of night to physically engage with the the educator according to charging documents.

Ana Leigh D’Ettorre, 24, of Louisville, Kentucky is said to have been involved with the teen student at Lakota Local Schools, in Liberty Township,*between May 21 and August 30 of this year, with the victim aged between of 13 and 16.

The Butler County teacher was indicted on November 23 with 11 counts of disseminating information detrimental to children and one count of engaging in unlawful*sexual behavior*with a minor, both of which are*first-degree felonies.*

According to court documents obtained by*Fox 19, the teaching assistant who appeared in court earlier this week is accused of having sent the victim nude mail.*D’Ettorre at the time was a college student working as a teaching assistant at Liberty Junior School during the second semester of the 2021-2022 school year.

Her last day at Lakota was May 4, 2022. said Betsy Fuller, district spokeswoman. She was a student a Liberty University at the time. The district receive no complaints about D’Ettorre during her time at Liberty Junior, WCPO reported.

Victim snuck out in the middle of the night to be picked up by teacher

During questioning the victim admitted to sneaking out of his father’s house in the middle of night to meet with the teacher, with the teacher driving the boy to a nearby park, whereby they physically engaged.*

Police identified D’Ettorre after the student’s father showed them a text from a number traced back to her regarding the alleged sexual relationship.

Told prosecutors, ‘We know it was somewhere within the city limits of Monroe, but we were never able to pinpoint where – sounded like it was during travel in a car.”

A spokesperson for the Lakota Local Schools told The*Sun*they were notified of an investigation involving D’Ettorre at the start of the current school year and fully cooperated with law enforcement.

‘We are incredibly disappointed that such serious charges have been brought upon a student teacher who spent time with our students,’ the spokesperson said.

‘After the start of the current school year, we were notified that an investigation involving Ms. D’Ettorre was taking place and fully cooperated with law enforcement. Ms. D’Ettorre was a student teacher in one of our schools whose last day at Lakota was May 4, 2022.’

‘The alleged incident took place later that month. It is imperative that our students feel safe in our schools, which is why we ask them, or their parents, to immediately report any concerns directly to an administrator.’

The female educator has a pre-trial hearing set for January 10 of the following year.

Ana Leigh D’Ettorre Lakota schools teaching assistant pleads guilty to having sex with 14yr old student in plea deal with prosecutors during a 2022 semester in Liberty Township, Ohio. Will now have to register as a Tier 2 sex offender.

A former teaching assistant in Butler County, Ohio has pled guilty to having had sex with a 14 year old student.

The guilty plea follows, Ana Leigh D’Ettorre, 25, being charged with ‘inappropriate contact’ with the teenager while she was worked at Lakota Local Schools, in Liberty Township, Ohio, between May 21 and August 30, 2022.

As part of her sentencing, the former teacher’s aide will be required to register as a Tier 2 sex offender as part of an agreement for her pleading guilty to one count of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor and disseminating matter harmful to juveniles, according to Butler County court records.

The Butler County Prosecutor’s Office dropped 10 other counts of disseminating matter harmful to juveniles, FOX19 reported.

As part of her Tier II sexual offender status, D’Ettorre will be required to register her residence every 180 days for 25 years.

Prosecutors say D’Ettorre had sexual contact with the student and also sent nude photos.

D’Ettorre who is free on $10,000 bond is scheduled to appear in court for sentencing on April 11.

Previous reports told of D’Ettorre, 25, originally hailing from Louisville, Kentucky having met her victim while working at Liberty Junior, with the alleged crimes taking place away from the classroom after her last day of student teaching, the prosecutor’s office said in November of 2022.

A spokesperson for the Lakota School District says they were notified of an investigation involving D’Ettorre at the start of the current school year and fully cooperated with law enforcement.

Betsy Fuller said D’Ettorre’s last day with the district was May 4 and court documents say the alleged incident happened on May 21.

‘We are incredibly disappointed that such serious charges have been brought upon a student teacher who spent time with our students,’ Fuller wrote in a statement from the school district.

The statement went on to say that the district did not receive any complaints or concerns about D’Ettoree’s behavior during her time at Lakota.

D’Ettorre was a student at Liberty University while she was student teaching in the Lakota School District.

Special ed teacher charged with rape for allegedly sleeping with student

A former special education teacher from Oklahoma was charged with rape after being accused of sleeping with a 16-year-old student.

Andee Lantz, 26, was arrested on Dec. 18 and allegedly admitted to cops that she had sex with the teenage boy on two or three occasions, according to court documents obtained by local outlet KWTV-DT.

Authorities began asking questions after a student at Carnegie Public Schools began circulating a nude photo of Lantz, the local outlet reported.

When confronted by the schools superintendent over the photo, Lantz and the student involved initially denied anything inappropriate was going on, the court docs state.

Lantz later confessed, saying that their relationship began after a homecoming game when they were “riding around.. and [the student] leaned in and kissed her, and it went from there,” the filing alleges.

Investigators said at least one of the trysts took place at the teacher’s home in Carnegie.

The age of consent in Oklahoma is 16, but sexual relationships between students and teachers are illegal in the state, even if the student is of age.

Lantz resigned in mid-November.

She was released on $15,000 bond on Dec. 23 on second-degree rape charges. Her next court hearing is set for March 12, records show.

According to reports, an IDEA Public School teacher in Texas named Karen Bereniz Sosa has been arrested for having an inappropriate relationship with a student. BustedCoverage reports that Sosa is facing 20 years in prison if convicted.

According to a reports, Sosa was arrested on charges of improper relationship between educator/student. She is accused of having the relationship during winter break at the school.

Sosa is accused of having a relationship with a male student who “admitted to having sexual intercourse” with the teacher. She reportedly sent nude photos through Instagram.

“At IDEA Public Schools, the safety of our students and staff is our top priority. IDEA Mission is aware of allegations of an inappropriate relationship involving a staff member,” a statement from the school said. “IDEA officials have launched a thorough investigation and are fully cooperating with local law enforcement. The staff member is no longer employed at IDEA Public Schools. As this is an ongoing investigation, all further questions should be directed to the appropriate law enforcement agency.”

Sosa’s bond was set at $50,000 and she faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted.

Over the course of the past year alone, a handful of teachers have been arrested on similar charges, including 25-year-old substitute teacher Alexis Mercedes Boberg in Baltimore, Beulah High School teacher Kelsie Schmidt in North Dakota, Rancocas Valley Regional High School teacher Alexandra Reiner in New Jersey, and 50-year-old Florida substitute teacher Angela Jean Stanton in Florida. Additionally, Texas teachers Meredith Null and Edna Longoria were arrested on similar charges.

As for why the number of these incidents has seemingly increased, studies suggest that smartphones are the primary reason for the spike in illicit relationships, as it allows teachers to communicate with the minors without supervision.

According to a report from the Texas Education Association, smartphones make it easy for teachers to privately text and talk with students and also make it possible for teachers and students to share explicit images.

It’s disturbing how teachers should know better and guide these students instead of those with inappropriate relationships.

In the police report it states that Sosa started to send the student sexy images of her on Instagram before sleeping with the student in a park during winter break.

Female High School Woodworking Teacher Charged With 6 Felonies For Relationship With Male Student

Lena Stewart, a 27-year-old agricultural science and woodworking teacher at Nixa High School in Nixa, Missouri has been charged for carving out an intimate relationship with a 16-year-old male student.

Stewart was charged with six felonies: sexual contact with a male student (three counts), statutory sodomy (two counts) and statutory rape (one count). She was also charged with misdemeanor sexual misconduct. Stewart was arrested Jan. 22 and released Jan. 23 on $25,000 bond.

The student was interviewed at the Child Advocacy Center in Springfield and disclosed that in October, he met Stewart several times at a friend’s house beyond the city limits. The first time, they kissed and he undressed and the second time, they had sex.

The student said he felt pressured to continue the relationship and was worried that if he didn’t, it could affect his grade. He had an “A” this year in Stewart’s class.

“We learned today that charges have been filed against Lena Stewart, a teacher at Nixa High School,” a spokesperson for the Nixa Public Schools district said. “We take any allegation of inappropriate conduct extremely seriously, so when an allegation was made in December, the district followed policy and procedure and then placed Lena Stewart on administrative leave and will continue to follow board policy and procedure when addressing this situation.”

“The district will be working with the appropriate authorities as they conduct their investigation and will cooperate fully with anything they need.”

Stewart was also a school leader for Future Farmers of America (FFA), a youth organization that was brought back to Nixa School in 2021. If convicted of the most serious charges, she could face up to seven years in prison.

Hannah Marth, Easton, Pennsylvania javelin coach, 26, had secret sex relationship with 17yr teen boy for 17 months charged with institutional sex assault.

A Pennsylvania javelin coach is alleged to have had a sexual relationship with a 17 year old teen boy, with whom the teacher was romantically involved with for 17 months.

Hannah Marth, 26, upon her arraignment on Thursday was charged with institutional sexual assault and sexual assault by a sports official.

Marth reportedly texted the teen and invited him to her residence on May 22, 2021, at about 2am and initiated sexual contact, the Northampton County District Attorney’s office said in a release.

Marth, who is a teacher in the Easton Area School District, confessed to having romantic involvement with the teen in May 2021. The teen allegedly told police he and Marth were in a relationship that lasted until October 2022.

Marth was the javelin coach during that time while the student was an active member of the track and field program.

Former standout athlete

‘A trusted relationship between a student athlete, an athlete’s parent, and a coach can be a vulnerable one,’ District Attorney Terry Houck told the Morning Call.

‘An abuse of that relationship shows a coach’s blatant disregard for the well-being of those she or he coached, and above all, the law. This defendant defied that trust when she committed this alleged crime against the victim.’

Marth had been a standout athlete and a member of the track and field team when she attended Northampton. She was arraigned Thursday afternoon before being freed on a $75,000 unsecured bail.

In a statement, Superintendent David Piperato told the outlet that the district was informed of the arrest by the district attorney’s office.

‘However, the school district intends to cooperate fully with the authorities in this matter and will take all necessary action to ensure the safety of our students.’

The daughter of an Oklahoma mayor and wife of the town’s chief of police has been accused of inappropriately touching a 15-year-old student she met while substitute teaching.

Emma ‘Delaney’ Hancock, 26, is reported to have initiated her liaison with her alleged victim in October 2022 when she texted the Wellston Public Schools student asking for a copy of a school assignment, an affidavit obtained by News 9 states.

Several weeks later, the boy allegedly sent the substitute teacher a shirtless picture of himself through Snapchat.

‘Are we sending half naked pictures now?’ Hancock responded.

The teen replied: ‘I don’t know, are we?’

‘Are you trying to get me to lose my job?’

‘Are you trying to get me to lose my job?’ Hancock allegedly said.

The teacher and student began exchanging nude photos and sexually explicit videos before engaging in two separate physical encounters, according to arrest filings.

The filing alleges that the boy visited the classroom Hancock was teaching in during her lunch break. They kissed inside the classroom closets and the teacher is accused of groping the teen during at least one meeting.

The abuse was reported to the school district in November, Superintendent Mike Franz told the outlet.

Hancock was banned from campus and reported to police.

Multiple Wellston residents told the outlet Hancock is the daughter of Mayor Paul E. Whitnah and wife to Chief of Police Alfred Hancock.

Because of the conflict of interest, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is handling the case, Lincoln County Sheriff Charlie Dougherty said.

Following her arrest on Thursday, Hancock was charged with two counts of soliciting sexual conduct or communication with minor by use of technology and two counts of lewd or indecent acts to child under 16. She was released on a $50,000 bond.
