Ok this isn't so much politics as current events, so...
What exactly about her is 'conservative' or even admirable?
Not her family values - traditional mothering hasn't proven her strong suit: her daughter got knocked up loose partying, her son joined the military as a last ditch effort to keep out of trouble (he was sent away to live with relatives in Michigan as a minor to finish high school because of 'issues').
Not her personal economic policies - evidence of ridiculous excess spending on the home front, multiple failed small businesses, and ethics inquiries regarding loans.
Or her public administrative policies - fixing contracts to favored bidders, continuing an Alaskan policy of social welfare that exceeds fucking China, and Wasilla received disproportionate federal subsidies under her watch, largely due to her relationship with Ted Stevens.
And generally, I'm just surprised that this is the one true 'conservatives' would let speak for them.
This broad's getting attacked because she's a phony who put herself out there.
Hell, she couldn't even commit to her job as governor once she got a taste of fame. The election wasn't close, and now she'll never be elected to a national office, because no one will trust a word she says, and you know there's more dirt there.
There must be a better spokesperson than a former beauty contestant who bounced through junior-level colleges, failed at trying to get a broadcasting job, and is a cheap imitation of a 'modern' woman.
I love true fiscally conservative lawmakers - not phony special interest, pander to the religious-right hypocrites.
oh, and the bitch ain't hot (outside of Alaska), and Trigs not her kid ![Stick Out Tongue](images/smilies/tongue.gif)
