University of Kentucky, is the winningest team in the history of college basketball, both in all-time wins and all-time winning percentage.[1] Kentucky also leads the NCAA in NCAA tournament appearances, NCAA tournament wins, NCAA tournament games, and ranks second to UCLA in NCAA championships with 7

University of Louisville: After being rejected by the SEC for inferior play, they turned to the Metro. The Metro was a powerhouse of a conference where UL dominated such National title contenders as Memphis State, Southern Miss, and Saint Louis. Realizing this was too difficult for them to conquer every year, they joined Conference USA before joining the Big East. UL won titles way back in 1980 and 1986. Long before half of this forum's members were even born. Success came to them in the form of an Orange Bowl victory of the powerhouse football school that is Wake Forest(yes, they have a football team, seriously). A trip to the College World series also failed to produce a title.
UL has had a Heisman trophy candidate, Michael Bush, but his Heisman season came to an end during the very first game against U of K.
Last season, the season following their Orange Bowl victory, they had there dreams crushed harder than Michael Bush's leg by a come from behind win by U of K
This, followed with a sound defeat by Syracuse ( yes the still have a football team as well) lead to the promise of one day reaching their goal of playing in the Humana-Michel Tires Denny Crum Bowl, to be held at Robert J. Frost Middle School in Louisville, Ky.
I go to Rice University in Houston, Texas. We're terrible at the sports that matter like football and basketball, but we do well in baseball and sports that nobody cares about like women's cross country. We're probably more likely to win a Nobel Prize than a football game, but nobody is ever sober at our games so it really doesn't bother us anymore. We usually make it to the College World Series and won it all a few years back, but other than that, athletics aren't really our strong suit.
