great comment about the bartenders that i didnt even consider. thats why I posted this here bc I was hoping to get an opinion like that that would get my ego in line with my head. we def stuck out at this bar and the guys were def townies. i doubt we'd be getting a fair shake from the crowd/bartenders.

like mheat i usually stick to a different kind of bar. this is what i get for trying to see a band and get cheap beer. i guess that is well worth it to going back to paying $6 a beer in the city.

george- no the girls def werent impressed by the guys and they knew that they were slumming it. The one guy tried to play it off like he was an engineer, but it quickly came out that he was a machine operator.

Keep in mind, it's not just the crowd and the bar staff. The bouncers would get involved too. Most of those guys live for that shit. I've seen a lot of people take worse of a beating from the bouncers than the original fight, then the bouncers hold the participants until the cops show up. Drunk and disorderly is a hard charge to fight unless you get witnesses and a security tape. Even then, the judge still sees you as a guy that got in a bar fight. It's not worth it. If your girl is a rational adult, I'm sure she'd rather go home early then to bail you out.
