Default Does anybody know if The Dark Knight

Does anybody know if The Dark Knight is going to be pushed back because of Heath Ledger's death?

If so i'm gonna be pissed!

They were done filming when he died so I don't see why it would.

No, it is not being pushed back.

In fact, there is a scene in the movie where the Joker is hiding in a bodybag (as part of a nefarious plot no doubt) that many people found distasteful and morbid in light of his passing and director Chris Nolan said he refused to cut it from the film because it would be a disservice to Heath Ledger's memory to change anything about the film they made together. The studio agreed completely and didnt ask him to change a frame of the film.

I suspect that If Ledger's death changes anything about the film, it will be the addition of a simple title card dedicating the film to his memory at the start of the credits.

Yep, agreed. From the nerd sites I like to visit, all shooting with Heath was completed early to free his schedule up for his next movie. That includes any re-shooting and post-production shooting for effects and whatnot. No quick re-edits like 'The Crow' had to go through!

Can't wait to see it. When he was cast I was worried because I though he was a bad choice. But after hearing his co-stars and director talk about him and seeing the trailers I think this may be his best performances.
