they got beat up by the cubs but responded by taking two of three on the road. dont write em off just yet. the cubs are obviously the class of the league but there still is a wildcard to be won

you're right, the wildcard is almost a lock to come from the Central, crazy how the division was once heralded as weak but is now one of the leagues strongest.

CINCINNATI (AP)—In what’s becoming an annual occurrence, the Milwaukee Brewers are losing games—and their composure—in early August.

Bronson Arroyo lasted six innings on a muggy night and hit a bases-loaded double on Monday night, sending the Cincinnati Reds to a 6-3 victory that left the Brewers with a next-to-nothing lead in the NL wild card race.

Their patience is running out, too.

After Manny Parra (9-5) left for a pinch-hitter in the seventh inning, first baseman Prince Fielder went up to him in the dugout and exchanged words. Fielder then shoved Parra twice before teammates pulled him away.

Thanks for finding that I was gonna ask one of the Brewers fans what the hell happened... saw a short clip on sportscenter but had to run before I could see the story.

No problem, I think Fielder would be the last one in that dugout I would pick a fight with, He could eat you....if you were a vegetable.

They are impressive specimens I'll give em that... interesting that if you goto the brewers team site, brewers.com they feature it prominently and even show the video. Guess its because mlb controls them all?

Back to my actual thought... Sabathia is 290... 290! Unreal even if he is 6'7".

Yeah that's a big guy. I think he is actually over 300. I am 6'5 278 and no where near that big.

Yea likely... gotta love it... sports are famous for that. In hockey a guy who is 5'7 is listed as 5'8 or 5'9, 170lbs becomes 180. I guess once u get that big the opposite kicks in and they shave off a couple.
