I have them. . . Sometimes. They come and go, it's weird because my weight doesn't fluctuate at all.

I think it is something to do with the way your pelvis is positioned, and body type. My sister and I were about the same weight, and she has them, but I never did. I also don't think it has to do with weight, as I have see them on one of my sister's friends who is a bit heavier.

i'm pretty sure it's just a genetic characteristic...i have a friend whose quite large and she has intense back dimples, but i'm pretty petite and i have none. she's lost some weight but her back dimples are still there.
