I am trying to make a sports highlight DVD for someone. They have video clips. I need to cut them and place them in a certain order. I am using a Mac. What is the best software application to use?
I appreciate any and all help.

If you have a Mac just use I-Movie...You just import the video clips and then drag down for your time line. Pretty easy for NOOBS doing video editing.

Of course if you have a Mac and didn't know about I-Movie, you need to package up your Mac and send it to me. Someone that will appreciate it.

^^^i agree

imovie will let you easily bring the clips over and edit/arrange the clips to your liking. once thats done it will allow you to burn it to a dvd for your viewing pleasure. idvd will let you further edit the video if you want to have different chapters and a title menu as well.

i just wasn't aware it would clip video...I have only used pictures with it.

with imovie?...i think you have iphoto and imovie confused as being the same thing
