Great. And yeah, that should have said as long as you haven't written anything to it.

Let us know how it goes. And don't expect to to be a short process. This kind of file recovery (esp on this large of a scale) usually takes a long time.

You have probably already tried this, but every time I get a new computer I take the drive out of my old one and transfer everything onto the new one. Might be worth a try.

This is why I never suggest external or Single HDD's for backup purposes. I do feel sorry for you. Wish I had a way for you to get your data back, but unless you want to spend 10 grand, there's no way.
