No I only eat farmed animals. I won't even eat commercially caught fish.
I collect snakes. I have 5 of these. They are called Woma's (Aspidites ramsayi)

I have never eaten snake. I would not refuse it if I was in China because I do not want to offend anyone. But after I was done they would have gotten a long lecture. Anywhere else in the world I would refuse it. Snakes are not a sustainable resource. If people farmed them for food and leather, I have no problem with that. I just don't like eating wild animals since there are so few left.

They have a tiny little head. The biggest thing they could eat would be a large mouse or small rat. They eat a lot of snakes and lizards in the wild in AU. They hurt like hell when they bite though

Those round up are doing terrible damage to the snake populations. My colleagues and I have been fighting to have those things banned for years. Imagine if that was kittens or bunnies instead of snakes. People would freak the fuck out. These round ups have caused extensive damage to snake populations all over the country. And then people complain about all the mice and rats. People just don't understand that every animal has a niche and if you disrupt that balance, it effects all of the fauna in that area.

I used to get rattlesnake pizza at a place when I lived in Greensboro. It was might tendony and chewy, but the flavor was divine. I don't know if they farmed it or not.

Dude, I have two cats inside at my house and I like them pretty well, and there are about 12 outside that my FIL left when he moved out that I feed. But the thought of like a corralled kitten-hunt just had me laughing so hard I spit Mtn Dew from my nose. Fucking hilarious, reminds me of this.
