What was your best childhood scam?

My dad owned several semi trucks, and each one had a dedicated driver. Because the drivers covered long distances the trucks had sleepers where the drivers could sack out and get some rest. Once while getting something from one of the parked trucks I made the magical discovery finding porn hidden under a mattress.

I knew I couldn't just raid the trucks without having a good reason to be in each one so I mentioned to my dad how nasty each truck was. A day or two later I complained that I needed to make some money. With the skill of a sidewalk scam artist I conned him into paying me to wash and clean each truck weekly.

I didn't take all the porn I found, just what made my dinky tingle. The drivers couldn't complain but some started cleaning their own trucks out. I still found plenty to keep my little soldier at attention -- and got paid for it. So I guess this is really about The Best Job I Ever Had.
