Extreme Makeover: Forclosure Edition
From Yahoo, the largest house ever built by the T.V. program is facing foreclosure.

Woopsie...
Another reminder why some people that win the lottery go broke a year later. Way to risk a free and clear home for your family for a business venture...
Always wondered what happens sometimes when people are given these houses and stuff on these type of shows. . .think of that whole "teach a man to fish," is appropriate here.
I would love to see what the contracts look like for doing those extreme makeover shows. I'm also curious to see if some group is going to bail them out at the last minute and save their home

They gave them money to pay taxes for 10 years and college scholarships for their kids. You would think they would be thankful for being picked up and placed back on their feet.
$450,000 to launch a construction busines...I'm sure the business included a new fleet of cars...bonuses...etc. What a shame.
Btw...I fucked up my spelling in the thread title. Stay classy.
Personally it makes me sick. People are just given something, and that something will help shelter their freakin kids...and what, they fucking take a ridiculous loan to start a "construction" company. Which I assume means they spent most of the money on cars and shit.
Thank god for us bitter sacks of emotionless fucks. We are legendz!

I could never be lucky enough for someone to offer me help in this way. But if it ever happened I would NEVER consider the house/money to be really mine. I wonder if these douchebags cashed out the scholarships for the kids.

Man I hope not. I'm a firm believer in giving people enough rope, they can climb out of the shit their in, or fucking hang themselves with it. Either way I won't have to deal with them again.

I used to watch that show all the time. I always thought that it was great that there was some reality TV that was making a difference instead of more Real World crap that was never a real world experience. I am sure that it has and will continue to make a difference to a lot of people but unfortunately it didn't sink in how lucky they were.
