The idiot I live with decided to remodel both bathrooms, next Tuesday the contractor comes in. Has she picked out the new sinks? NO has she picked out the new faucet sets? NO
There was a major hurricane that came thru a couple of weeks ago, you may have heard of it, Ian. We had no damage at all. But the home improvement stores have directed all their stock and stores to be moved to the affected areas. She is not going to find 3 identical matching sinks and faucets in any store in the damn area. Did she think of doing that research? Hell no. Now she's pissed at me because I'm nearby and convenient.

Clarification:
Three sinks - two in the master bathroom, one in the other "house" bathroom. Getting them all replaced because fuck, they got to match right??

Fucking chicken. Now she has bought some chicken foot linament (no shit, the stuff really exists) for his feet. Does he have a problem with his feet? No, she got it just in case he does develop one. She also bought a 30# bag of chicken feed for him. But that fucker can nab a mosquito right out of the air! When he makes that quick snap I am really happy that chickens aren't as big as say an ostrich gets. Granted the wings would be awesome at Hooters but who's gonna go take them away from it?? And a drumstick would be like a caveman's club in size!

edit -- oh yeah she went to two different Homer Depots to get all the items needed. Sinks, fixtures, all that shit. And not the cheap items, faucets were 190 each. fuck me.

Now back to the chicken update portion of our news. This is my wife's pet rooster Henry. A fine bird, never to meet the stew pot. He will be buried with full chicken honors when his time comes. He's pretty old now, about 4 years, and chickens don't have long lives even when not a food source.
