It's just like when a chicken runs around without a head. I saw a king cobra's venom glands still pumping away an hour after it died.
What an asshole that guy is for killing that snake though. And for no other reason than to entertain himself. I would love to catch him in the woods doing that somewhere. He would have a merciless beat down with a snake hook he would never forget. Then I could put it on utube and people could go, "look he is totally knocked out, but every time he gets hit with that snake hook he still seems to twitch".
