Water polo teacher has sex with underage male student she was coaching
Christopher Koulouris - April 15, 2022  Amanda Quinonez water polo & swim coach at Eleanor Roosevelt High School in California accused of lewd acts with underage male student. A California teacher who doubles as a water polo and swim coach has been accused of engaging in lewd acts with an underage male student, including sending the victim explicit photos according to reports. Amanda Quinonez, 30, an English-Language arts teacher at Eleanor Roosevelt High School, in East Vale, was taken into custody Tuesday. Riverside County Sheriff’s Department investigators said they were called to the school following allegations Quinonez had ‘committed lewd acts’ with the underage pupil. During their probe, authorities found Quinonez had allegedly sent the boy ‘explicit photos of a sexual nature.’ It remained unclear if the victim was a member of the water polo or swim team or any other class that the female educator taught. Authorities have not released the alleged victim’s age according to FOX11 Los Angeles. Abuse of position of power, trust and authority Principal Dr. Greg Anderson sent a letter home to parents earlier this week saying they had notified authorities as soon as they became aware of the possible ‘inappropriate relationship,’ the LA Times reported. He did not disclose how the school was notified of the allegations. Anderson added that the school district has a ‘zero-tolerance for any behavior that endangers our students.’ It wasn’t immediately clear if Quinonez, who was released from custody Wednesday on a $50,000 bond, had been placed on leave pursuant to her arrest. The sheriff’s office said its investigation is ongoing. Quinonez has worked at the school since 2016 as a language arts teacher. She also coached the boys’ and girls’ water polo teams. Wilmington music teacher caught having sex with student after husband alerts school
Christopher Koulouris - May 17, 2022  Olivia Ortz Hermitage Pennsylvania music teacher busted having sex with female student after husband alerts Wilmington Area H.S authorities of illicit relationship. A married Pennsylvania high school music teacher was arrested for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a female student after her husband alerted school administrators. Olivia Lois Ortz, 26, was taken into custody Monday and booked with two counts of sexual activity with a 17-year-old student at Wilmington Area High School, New Castle News reported. Her husband, who did freelance work for the school’s music department, found incriminating messages, including a love letter from the student victim on Ortz’s iPad after coming home from a recent trip to Florida and told the principal WTAE reported. Ortz, of Hermitage, was suspended on May 9 and had a warrant issued for her arrest on Friday. The female educator declined to immediately turn herself in and even sang in a local concert on Sunday before finally surrendering the following day WKBN reported. But it gets crazier… Culture of sexual abandon with students Ortz’s predecessor as the school’s music director, Jonathan Priano, 37, is also facing similar charges of sexual misconduct with students CBS News reported. The former music director is accused of being prone to tickling the feet of coeds and forming inappropriately close relationships with them, according to reports. The educator’s criminal case is pending. Acting on tips from Ortz’s husband, investigators found more than 100 messages sent over Spotify from May 10-11 between the educator and her victim, until the student victim’s father confiscated the girl’s cellphone. The teacher and her student victim allegedly had a code word in case their illicit relationship was ever discovered. In interviews with police, the student admitted to going to the teacher’s home when her spouse was away and having had sex on several occasions. The girl said she returned to Ortz’s home after her husband discovered their relationship to offer the teacher comfort, according to WTAE. Authorities said they interviewed the teen and her parents again on May 5 after executing a conclusive search warrant. The teen told investigators that the pair were still communicating despite looming criminal charges for Ortz, while professing that they are in love. Ortz is being held in the Lawrence County jail on $150,000 bond and her next hearing is set for May 25 Priano, who faces 20 counts of institutional sexual assault, unlawful contact with minors, corruption of minors and endangerment, has a pretrial hearing set for June. I know it is sexist or I guess it's sexist but if the teacher is female and hot has a crime really been committed. A male teacher doing it to a female seems bad to me even though it is pretty much the same.

Christopher Koulouris - May 22, 2022  Kristine Knizer Irving Middle School science teacher in Fairfax County, Virginia arrested in possession of illicit child images and video on Snapchat account. A Virginia middle school teacher was arrested after police found illicit child images associated with her Snapchat account. Kristine Knizer, 28, a general science teacher at Washington Irving Middle School in Springfield upon her arrest last week was charged with two felony counts of possession of illicit child content. Fairfax County police said they received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that someone with a Fairfax County IP address was in possession of illicit childrens photos and videos on Tuesday. An ensuing investigation found that the IP address was connected to Knizer’s home in Springfield. Detectives determined the educator living alone at the residence. They then found the photos and videos of child sexual abuse on her social media FOX5DC reported. Investigators seek potential victims Police say none of the victims appear to be her students at Irving Middle School nor from her previous employment at Key Middle School in Franconia. Knizer has now been released from an Adult Detention Center on a $2,000 unsecured bond. In a letter to parents following Knizer’s arrest, WTOP reports, school officials said they were made aware of the charges against her – with the female educator since placed on leave. ‘While investigators have not identified any offenses related to [Fairfax County Public Schools] students, FCPS is cooperating with police as they investigate this serious matter,’ the letter read. School officials also noted that counselors and social workers will be made available to students and their families. It remained unclear how the female educator accessed the images and any direct involvement with the abuse of the victims portrayed. An unblemished teaching record… until now. A 42-year-old female teacher at a renowned Florida private school has been arrested for having sex with a student, according to police and administrators. Jamie Melton, a high school English instructor at the $25,000-a-year Carrollwood Day School in Tampa, is facing criminal charges after allegedly having ‘sexual relations’ with the student this month. The educator was charged with sexual battery a day after local authorities issued a warrant for her arrest, FOX13 reported. ‘This woman was a trusted member of this community who was responsible for the education and well-being of students,’ said Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister in a statement. ‘Instead she violated that trust. As a parent I am disgusted and hope she faces full consequences for her actions.’ Deputies said they believe it was an isolated incident but are investigating if Milton had inappropriate contact with any other students at the K-12 school. Abuse of position of trust, power & authority Chronister did not release an age or sex for the victim in the case and more details are expected with the release of court papers during the course of the week. In a letter to parents, the school’s principal, Sara Rubenstein, said Melton was charged with relations with a student over 12 and under 18. ‘Ms. Melton has had an unblemished teaching record and we have not had any concerns about her conduct prior,’ the principal wrote. ‘Ms. Melton has been suspended from her position immediately.’ Not immediately clear is what led to the educator abusing her position of trust, authority and power to subjugate her presumed teen male student victim. Previously arrested earlier in summer for sexting with student. ‘I let the devil in…’ A former teacher at a Christian high school in Florida previously arrested for sexting with a student was arrested again after allegedly twerking on a student at prom. Julie Kinsey Hoover, 38, who used to teach at Point of Grace Christian School in Perry, was arrested on Tuesday and charged with soliciting or engaging in lewd conduct with a student as an authority figure along with contributing to the delinquency of a minor, according to police records obtained by WCTV. The educator’s newest arrest follows Hoover being arrested and charged back in June with one count of an authority figure soliciting or engaging in sex with a student after allegedly exchanging explicit messages with an 18-year-old senior student. The newest charges come after a student told investigators Hoover twerked on him and pressured him to drink alcohol at his high school prom on April 8. Randy Maubach, a school administrator, ‘advised that staff did in fact have alcohol to drink that night that was stored in the back room.’ ‘Let the Devil in’ The victim told investigators he became so uncomfortable while Hoover twerked on him that other students tried to squeeze in between the then-teacher and the boy several times to try to get her to stop. At least two students who stepped in corroborated the incident, WCTV reported. According to the most recent arrest affidavit, Hoover had a phone call after the twerking episode with another student’s mother — as law enforcement listened in — and admitted she ‘Let the Devil in’ at prom. The affidavit also documented the underage student saying Hoover coerced him to drink at the prom, including forcing the straw from her alcoholic beverage into his mouth. It was unclear if the student with whom Hoover had allegedly been exchanging explicit messages is the same boy who brought forth the twerking allegations. The initial sexting incident was brought to the attention of police on June 2 when the student’s mother discovered sexually charged messages (do you suppose…?) between her son and Hoover from a period stretching between March and April. The concerned mom told investigators that the former math teacher was arranging to have her son come to her home while her husband was at work, according to court documents. After Hoover’s latest arrest, the Point of Grace Christian School reportedly confirmed that the suspect is a ‘former teacher’ and said the school has cooperated with the law enforcement investigation.
