OK, Just wondering what you all thought of Senator Obama's choice of Senator Joseph Biden as his running mate?

I'm rather ambivalent. I don't know much about him other than being DE's senator and having unsuccessfully ran for prez a couple of times.

Seriously, I'm on the fence about both candidates.

Time for DSF stepInterview to help the masses discern.

If he is saying he wants change so much...why would he pick someone that has pretty much spent their whole life in Washington?

Morehart nailed it. Evan Bayh would have been the better choice. Biden is too "established" to be a part of change. I think this may have cost him the election.

You think THAT is going to cost him...he has been sinking like a stone ever since he was announced as the presumptive candidate. Hell, he attacked McCain over his house kerfuffle and he lost points. People are starting to pay attention and realize that Obama is more fluff then substance.

So then you are basically saying we should pick the old man, who uses his status as a former POW as a crutch and likes to walk on both sides of the political line instead of the guy who would bring a fresh set of eyes to Washington. McCain is a Bush clone and has no business being nominated.

I kinda agree here. I frankly hate them both....

although I'm not bothered about the "walking both sides of the political line" part....sound legislature or cogent thinking should (and is) larger than silly party divisions and territorial pissings. I'd rather vote for somebody that looks at a problem without the rep/dem glasses on.....but that's nearly impossible to find or thrive in the system we have.

Fuck me, I really don't know who to vote for. Which one supports bukkake?

Agreed! If he chooses Palin as VP, I'll actually be somewhat confident in my McCain vote.

I think Biden is going to hurt Obama more then help. Biden says some stupid shit, and Obama sounds like an idiot when he's not reading off a telepromptor.

And yeah, yeah, Bush sounds like one all the time. Ha ha. Good one.

You are very naive if you think Obama is going to be any different as President then any other democrat. Don't be fooled by the "Change we can believe in" bullshit. More like "the same shit."

And no, I don't think McCain is going to be any different. Lesser of two evils.
