So what's the law about carrying knives in cars in your state? Does it have to be under a certain blade length?

I'm not sure now that I'm back in SC. The Navy ka-bar that I'm carrying in the car is nowhere near as long as the Marine Ka-Bar I have in the house (it's blade is 7"). I think fixed-blade knives aren't considered as strictly as folding, but I'd ahve to look it up.

From my own experience and people I've talked to in law enforcement, the average for a blade to be considered a concealed weapon is anything that is larger than the width of your palm, 4"-5". It's the same in most states.

Actually, in SC, it's any knife with a blade over 2". I do not carry it however on my person, it's just in the pocket of my car. And the one I have at home won't count because it's on my premises.

Slingshots are actually exempt from the concealed weapon law if I read correctly.

Can't sleep unless TV is on..doesn't have to be heard, just on...Wake up at LEAST 4 - 5 times during the night, about every hour to hour and 15 minutes to pee (symptom of my diabetes), and can not sleep if it is too hot (usually above 75 degrees) unless a fan is on.

That's about it for my quirks.
