I'm hyperactive and have insomnia from hell. Which combine to basically kill my internal clock most of the time.

I usually have no problem sleeping. If tired, I can fall asleep anywhere and at any time. go me, I guess.

i also rarely have trouble sleeping. but i work construction, so usually, i'm conked out by 11:00 from exhaustion.

I'm naturally nocturnal. I'll get into a good sleep pattern for a few weeks (wake up early, go to bed around midnight), but all it takes is one day of me sleeping in or staying up really late and I'm hosed.

Then I discovered Ambien. Puts me out and I'm not groggy at all the next morning. They're also fun to take and try to stay awake. It's like being drunk, but without the hangover. Even better, they're generic now, so just $10 per refill. I love my FDA approved drugs.

I really need to try that. My friend has worked 3rd shift as a janitor for about two years now and takes sleeping pills or Nyquil when he can't go to sleep. I worked 3rd shift at a pharmacy for three months and never took anything, often putting me in situations where I did an 8-hour shift on two hours of sleep. Could have been prevented.

I myself suffer from insomnia but, I have a perscription for Xanax so that helps.

I just use them to put me back on schedule. And when the wife and I want to have some fun.
