Nah.... that's not it (well, i guess technically it is). But that plug-in is very lean.

It's because Max posted like 9 pics that were insanely huge. Your browser still has to download all those pics and then quickly resize them. It is meant to handle the occasional oversized pic. It's not installed to allow you to post multiple oversized pics.

That's sort of the catch-22 about this plugin.... it works great but it makes people lazy (not talking about you Max). N00bs will think "Oh, i don't need to resize my pics now, that plugin will just do it for me". So you actually get way more people posting gigantic pics which will slow things down.

The same thing will happen when Cmetz posts 10 different 5000 x 6000 pictures in the Real Girls thread.
