So was the one in Grand Forks, but they still couldn't sell alcohol there if the rest of the state couldn't sell it. You might want to check on that. Besides, drinking now will make formatting your computer go faster. Might not work the way you want when you're done, but it won't seem like it takes as long.

Dude,
I hope it all turns out ok. Having just gone through a clean install of Vista (yeah I said Vista) and a migration to Firefox3 where I fucked my profile up and then recovered everything...I feel for ya. I am still having issues with one of my extensions causing FF to crash repeatedly. So, trying to figure that out is real fun. So, I know your pain. I say find something to drink...celebrate, go back to the PC when it is not your birthday!

Fuck HP. Goddamn recovery discs didn't work, nor did the recovery partition. I had to install a legit copy of XP that I wasn't using for anything else.

Thank God it's so easy to backup all my Mozilla stuff. Just copied my profile shit back to where they go, then installed FF and TB and boom, all my shit is there and configured.
