I've done the tea diet, but that was to detox for my PO and I didn't even care about losing weight. It worked very well, but I did feel weak and lightheaded most of the time.

lol maybe this diet isnt such a good idea then... i can cope with the starvation etc but not keen on gas when im trapped in a lecture theatre for hours on end!

hmm sounds interesting, how would i work out how many calories i need to maintain?
i already take a multivitamin and drink shitloads of green tea. im all round a very healthy eater, i dont eat any fast food but my main vices are coffee, diet coke and alcohol... i tend to run on stress and very little sleep so those help!
I have been on the Atkins diet for about 3 months, Took out starches and sugars. Its absolutly amazing at how fast the weight dropped off.
I work in a resturant so its difficult to diet, and even more difficult to exercise. AFter working about 12 hours a day, you dont really want to run another few miles before or after work. Plut there is alot of food there.
The Adkins worked great because it dropped the weight, and was easy to stay on in a resturant. It also upped my energy level quite a bit.
I didnt really weigh myself but I estimate that I have lost about 60 pounds in the last three months. I know for sure that I have lost 6 sizes and I think afte the end of the next two weeks (the end of my diet) I will be down 8 sizes.
The only problem is that if you are looking to lose in two weeks, its probably not fast enough. It takes a good week before it really kicks in and you body starts to burn its own fats for energy.
Now at the end of the next two weeks im going to break the diet and try to control my intake and weight. Im not sure how it will work, but I plan on doing some reading about it. I know I wont ever drink regular soda again, or eat sweets except for rare occasions, same with potatos. They are both in rare guilty pleasures catagory now.
Has anybody else had experience with this, and some advice.
