Welcome to the pain. I have been waiting to read A Dance With Dragons for almost as long as I've been waiting for the Cubs to go to the World Series. Hopefully with HBO pushing for production, Mr. Martin will pick up the pace on The Winds of Winter and A Dream of Spring.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.


It's not bad so far but I'm only about 70 pages in, and in all honesty it took too long to set the hooks. Almost 60 pages was lead up to what is actually happening.

It's a good book, keep up with it but the ending was very predictable. I have yet to read the other 2 books.

My dad died in September last year and I grabbed the books off his shelves. As I read them I know understand why he was such a wierd prick. Reader's Digest condesned books?

If you weren't pleased with the results of Dragon Tattoo, save your time and don't read the others. The books are all three pretty formulaic and I didn't care for the dry, journalistic style that the author used. The good news is he's dead, and there's only one more manuscript unpublished.
