Sorry to hear that bro. My Grandma had her first stroke back in the 70's, and just passed away a couple weeks ago at 92, so there's plenty of living left to be done.

I'm not a doctor or nothin, but my doc has me taking baby aspirin and Vitamins b6/b12 plus Folic acid. Pretty standard stuff for at risk patients. Your dad may also have to go on a blood thinner to reduce the chance of clots.

Ask his doctor if this drug would be of any help
