this is going to get me flamed, i'm sure...

i'm always amazed when i hear someone say "I'm bored". in the time of the internet, where things across the world are just a few keystrokes away, how can you be bored?

probably a generational thing...i see the gameboys, playstations, cell phones, ipods, e-books and i wonder. have we raised a generation of impatient kids?

does that make me pathetic? probably, but she made some killer lasagna tonight and i can't let a girl who cooks that good get away

Technology has desensitized society,particulary children.

When I was a kid,I was lucky enough to own a Nintendo(when I was 11).

But It was old fashioned games and books that kept my sisters and I so occupied.

Lots of hide and go seek,and torturing our cat(just kidding,sorta).

Kids are just spoiled today,because they have access to things we never had growing up.....

So I guess it's only slightly natural that a kid would get bored after awhile,and want the lastest thing to keep them amused/occupied..

I personally enjoy the net,and watching TV.

And if I get bored,I read a book,or go for a walk.
