Haha, probably warranted. Sucks, not going to be able to start really training until after December now. Had a couple of big conflicts with school that I did not anticipate at all. Oh well, better late than never.
FYI, if I'm going to be flamed over any fighter, it better be someone I really look up to and not just someone I train with occasionally. That fighter would probably be BJ Penn. He's probably my favorite fighter. An in shape and motivated BJ is almost impossible to beat.
I was super impressed once again by the WEC. Their past couple of shows have been excellent. They may not have great talent, but most of the fights are finished. It will be interesting if Dana decides to merge their upper weight classes into the UFC. Stann and Cantwell would be smoked.
Anyone think they will merge the upper weight classes?

They will not merge. As fighters develop in the WEC (as a feeder show to the UFC), Dana and the boys will bring fighters over to the organization. The reality is that most fighters in the WEC aren't on the level of the UFC fighters. That blanket statement certainly doesn't apply to everyone, but WEC is really more known for its lighter weight divisions (like 145 and 135). It will be interesting to see what happens as the WEC develops champions in its organization though.
