Fucking Raiders.
1st & 2 @ goal against the Brownies with Charlie Fucking Frye @ QB (who already has 2 picks today), and Bush averaging 5 yards a carry - and they throw three times until Frye gets another pick. (call reversed to just an incompletion.
Not that they would win the game anyway, but at some point it's not the players.
Gut this fucking team already - send 'em to the CFL or some other bullshit.

Not that it really matters to me, cause I don't give a shit about IND, but still a bad fucking call pulling Peyton.
They weren't getting to him; no sacks, picks, or anything else.
Forget the perfect season (which would still be pretty cool), but I believe you gotta win and keep momentum going into the playoffs.
A loss is a loss.

congrats.
I think you guys are definitely gonna see better days next year.
Sounds like Mangini may not stay with Holmgren @ the helm.
And though he came through the SF system, the Walrus was never really part of all that DeBartolo/Policy b.s. that set you guys back - so should be good forward.

Here's my take. Mangini finally got the Browns on his "process" 3-4 Defense, no huddle, etc... Now Holmgren is either gonna kick all that shit to the curb and we start over, or he buys into a different scheme than his "west coast" offense. I'm sick of starting over. I like Mangini, I hope they can work it out.

Agreed.
From a drive-by perspective, I like Mangini.
And he's a homer for you guys.
But he's defensive minded, and Holmgren is a west coast guy (which I don't think has worked out all that well for him).
And Mangini must be a prick to deal with or something, cause every 'peer' seems to hate the guy.

I think the players really respect him. Some have referred to him as the sharpest coach they ever played for.If is peers think he's a prick, then I like him all that much more. I agree he's a defensive coach, and I like that about him. Let him run 11 picks this spring, and see what happens.
