im gonna suggest locking your infant daughter in the closet, then police the internet as it is serious business, then when someone else comes along you can come over and well nap

Well, the internets IS serious business, you are correct and it's way more serious than my daughters health, my relationship as a father to her and any lasting effects that being locked in a closet would do to her.

Of course, sometimes I would like to be more a part of her life but there is work to be done on the 'net, people to be corrected, insulted and attention to be sought out at every opportunity regardless of the damage it causes.

Someone may well be over soon to sit for her and when they do appear, I will come to you and we will nap together until we both feel better.

I couldn't agree more, that would be cruelty of the highest level, to be forever known as 'the girl whose father left the 'net unattended'. She would be bullied at school, ridiculed at work, if she could even get a job and she would become the leper of society, shunned by her very peers. I may as well go just now and introduce her to crack and save her some time.

These are the responsibilities that you have, the nurturing, watching them grow and develop and hope one day that they become better for it when you enter into that special relationship and take out an internet connection subscription. Children only get in the way as do wifes/husbands etc.

They need to learn that this is serious, dammit. The internet needs us in a way that we have never been needed before and nothing, NOTHING will stand in our way.

Come Amy, come with me and we'll patrol this vast, lawless land together, righting wrongs, whoring attention from unsuspecting victims, pwning people who didn't know they were about to be pwned, accusing people of unsightly things and then sitting back waiting for the next wrong to be righted.

We WILL save this thing..
